Dangerous Goods Handling is not limited to flammable solvents, but also to powder handling within a facility.

Working with our partners TPC has undertaken risk assessments to ensure that the categorisation of powders to meet dangerous goods requirements has been performed.

Some powders are sensitive to static-electricity and can for explosive atmospheres. The room may need to be made intrinsically safe to handle some powders, this effect the electrical systems used, flooring types used (i.e., conductive), the way in which equipment is handled (i.e., earthed) the air conditioning systems used and the training of staff to work within these areas.
