Controlled temperature rooms, (CT Rooms) in short can take many forms, most found in research type environments, such as universities, education, high containment, and hospitals. Total Precision Cleanrooms Aust, (TPC) have built many types of CT rooms, stability chambers, stability rooms, coolrooms, freezer rooms and environmental testing laboratories, for athletes and organizations such as DSTO. Most of our works locally, are in universities including Monash University, Victoria University and Melbourne University.
Unlike coolrooms which are a very, basic form of these types of facilities, controlled temperature rooms (CT rooms), stability chambers and Environmental laboratories can have several different control points such as relative humidity (RH), temperature including cooling, solar or heating, Hypoxic conditions, freezing temperatures or a combination of different parameters together. In these cases, the control parameters whether single or multiple must be able to operate precisely. So, the construction of these rooms, there airtightness and thermal performance is paramount for these types of facilities to operate accurately. As most of these facilities are research related rooms.
